• Travel grant award of ICMR for conference participation at Mauritius BTBT2013; Nov. 2013.

• Travel Grant award of CSIR New Delhi for participation in 5th Asia federation conference on lactic acid bacteria, National University of Singapore July 3-5, 2009, and also for International symposium of lactic acid bacteria. Universiti Putra Malaysia. July 25-27, 2010.

Awarded following prizes for the best papers:

• Five first prizes for abstract F11 in the 4th IFCON-1998, FM 45 in the 5th IFCON 2003, FB11 in the 16th ICFOST 2004, FB-11 in the 6th IFCON 2008 and abstract FM-29 in the 6th IFCON 2008..

• Four best paper awards for the Abstract No D-0404 in the 7th IFCON 2013, APPN AFB02 in BTBT2013, FB15 in ICFoST2014 and Foodomics’2016.

• One third prize for Abstract M38 in the 15th ICFOST 2002
